About Sikumut

Sikumut is a Greenlandic field operator. Led from North Greenland. Built on the hunter network. Aligned with Sedna by design.

01 / Origins

Sikumut is a Greenlandic field operator working across North and East Greenland. Through a long-established network of hunters and local partners, we coordinate cruise operations, scientific field support, film production support, and tailored journeys in places standard operators cannot reach. Our work begins in the communities themselves, with the relationships that make field operations possible.

We work according to the Arctic field standards developed together with Sedna, while remaining rooted in the communities that make our operations possible. Every deployment depends on collaboration with hunters, fishers, village residents, and local partners. It also depends on keeping responsibility and opportunity connected to the places where the work begins.

02 / Practice
The ice sets the terms. We prepare with the people who know it.
